As a mum of two lively boys, I know just how quickly childhood passes — one moment they’re small enough to curl up in your arms, and the next they’re running ahead of you. Those years don’t stay little for long, and that’s why I believe family photography is such a precious investment.

Based in Sonning Common, South Oxfordshire, near Henley-on-Thames and Reading, I’ve been a professional photographer for over 14 years, and I combine my experience behind the camera with the real-life understanding that comes from being a parent.
My sessions are never rushed or back-to-back; instead, I dedicate the whole day to one family, ensuring the experience feels relaxed, fun, and personal.
Whether I’m visiting you in the comfort of your own home, or meeting at one of my favourite local beauty spots — from woodlands and parks to riverside walks I know like the back of my hand — I create a space where your family can be yourselves.
With a calm, playful approach (and a few tricks up my sleeve for shy toddlers or camera-shy teens), I’ll capture natural, emotive images that reflect your story. From clothing guidance to preparation tips, I take care of the little details so that your photoshoot feels effortless and leaves you with timeless images to treasure for years to come.

How does it work?
Once you’ve booked your session, I’ll be in touch to find out more about you and your family – what you love to do together, the things you’re passionate about and the ages of your children. I hope, getting to know me a little better, will help you relax.
On the day, I’ll spend some time with you before I get my camera out. I’m happy to look at the outfits you’ve chosen too. If you’d like some photos in your home or garden, we’ll start there, before moving on to your second location. If we’re meeting in a park or your favourite place, we can have a little walk before we start – or even a coffee and ice cream!
I understand it can feel a little overwhelming having to dress the whole family and whilst it isn’t the most important thing, some outfits do work better than others. I’ll advise you on clothing before the shoot and send some suggestions to think about depending on the season and backdrop we use.
I’m on constant weather watch. I check the weather the day before and very early on the day. If it looks absolutely horrid, we will look to postpone your shoot to the backup date you chose.
