Congratulations, you’re getting married! Planning a wedding is such an exciting (and sometimes overwhelming) time. I never take for granted being a Wedding Photographer, and being married myself appreciate all the special little attention to details, planning, research, nerves, worries, excitement that goes into planning your very special day. I appreciate how important and what a big decision it is choosing your photographer.

My approach is calm with humour (in the appropriate places) I will be with you right from the start of our first correspondence, the pre wedding consultation, through the planning stage, listening and hearing about all your ideas and plans, the Pre wedding shoot to throughout the whole day. I will be completely dedicated to you and both myself and my experienced second photographer on the big day will mingle in with your guests capturing all the big moments and small details, and candid moments that you may not have seen yourself, all this builds up to telling the story of the best and biggest day of your lives. I mainly work across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, North Hampshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey borders.

Some of the venues I have taken wedding photographs locally at are:

Oakley Court – Windsor, Great Fosters – Egham, Danesfield House Hotel and Spa in Marlow, Harleyford – Marlow, Guildhall – Windsor, Lillibrooke Manor nr Maidenhead, Notley Tythe Barn near Aylesbury, Latimer House nr Amersham, Cantley House – near Wokingham,The Great House – Sonning, and the following in or near Henley on Thames – Henley Town Hall, Badgemore Golf Park, Shiplake College, Phyllis Court Club,  River and Rowing Museum , The Olde Bell – Hurley.

I have experience of both small, intimate weddings and large weddings with over 150 guests, and whether you’re getting married in a church, having a civil ceremony, civil partnership or same sex wedding, no wedding is too small or big. I enjoy listening to your love story. I can ask questions to help you work out what sort of photography you would like and provide a tailor-made, no obligation quote for you. My style is a light and airy approach with a romantic feel where traditional and contemporary meet. The thing I love most about weddings is no two weddings are the same because each couple, venue, and style is different.  The art of an experienced photographer is not just about having the latest camera, but also having people skills, reading situations and capturing the little details that help to tell your story. Never is this more important than on your wedding day.

I hope you enjoy looking through my work. I have photographed at so many delightful weddings, with different styles, themes, colours, so if you’d like to see further examples of my wedding photography I’d be very happy to show you them over a Video call in current times or in person (socially distancing) until other times allow. Nice words

Kathryn was recommended to us as a wedding photographer. We were so happy to have met someone so warm and friendly to capture moments of our special day. She was not only professional and approachable but friendly and smiley too! She was fantastic with the kids and captured the best memories we could ever have hoped for, therefore we highly recommend her to be your photographer too! (Tara and Steve Purchell)

Kathryn photographed our wedding in October last year.
She was an absolute pleasure to have around; not only did she take stunning photos of our day, she made everyone feel at ease, and even helped the best men into their cravats!  She went completely above and beyond, and I would 100% recommend Kathryn to anyone. (Helen and Ivan Bishop)

My husband and I would like to recommend photographer, Kathryn Fell. She photographed our wedding at Phyllis Court Club in Henley on Thames.
Her kind words, practical advise and positive, calming nature made us both feel confident and reassured on our Big day. Kathryn is very considerate and so thoughtful. We have never met anybody as dedicated and caring as she is.
If you are looking for someone who will take every wish on board, who work fast and efficient, who is very professional and can catch the best moments of the day – Kathryn is the one. (Kat and John Tobin) Henley on Thames

My Process and frequently asked questions.

I have been photographing weddings for 10 years. I only take on up to 10 weddings a year, so you have my full energy and dedication throughout booking me to delivering your images from your beautiful day.

I always work with two cameras, that both have 2 memory cards in, as back up. I am fully insured and pride myself in always thinking everything through, with back up equipment and always thinking of a plan b, you certainly never leave anything to chance as a Professional for the most important day of your life. I always provide a bespoke quote, unique to your day, based on:

Location,  length of time you would like me, and if a second photographer is recommended due to quantity of guests.

If you require a beautiful photography album, to remember your day in years to come.

I always recommend meeting up be over a good old cup of tea or glass of something stronger if in an evening after a quote has been raised. I offer a courtesy Pre-wedding photoshoot too which are usually atleast £200, as I believe it is so important. I can get a feel for how you are infront of the camera, and if you had any worries about being infront of the camera, they dissipate as I have a 100% record for couples going away saying they really enjoyed it or didn’t know why they were so worried about the photography part.

Collections for full day coverage, including a pre wedding/ engagement shoot, start from £1,700. More information can be found out on the ‘Prices tab’ under Gallery at the top. For weekday or shorter coverage / or to check your date is available, please fill out the ‘Contact me’ tab at the top. Quotes are only given when a date and venue are booked.

If you would like to book me as your wedding photographer, I will send you a booking form with information to fill out such as venue address and ceremony time, a booking fee secures your special day/ date.

We then arrange your wedding consultation to talk through your plans, dreams and ideas. The pre wedding shoot can take place as well at this time. I will send you tips on what to wear and how to get the best out of your photoshoot. You will receive at least 10 High Res digital images on a gallery. These images can be used for your ‘Save the date’ invites, order of ceremony or photos on the day to dress the Card, Gifts or Guest book table.

When will we get to see our digital images?

Images from your day are carefully edited one by one in my signature light and airy style, and a USB stick and bespoke presentation case ordered after each wedding. Digital images on your private /password protected online gallery are emailed within 6-8 weeks after your special day, but a sneak peek can be shown (with permission) on social media within a couple of days after your day, so you can see what is to come.

Who do you use as a Second photographer?

I only use a carefully selected number of 2nd photographers that are also Prime photographers and lead at their own weddings, so you have a strong and experienced team to capture all elements of your most amazing day.

I have built up a trusted close network of photographers, so should I fall ill, (don’t worry I am there even if my leg is hanging off 🙂 ) I have back up secured, not just in photography style but similar calm, approach.
